PADI RESCUE DIVER COURSE

READY TO HELP WHEN IT COUNTS

Anyone with a PADI Advanced Open Water certification and at least 12 years old can start this course to learn how to prevent and respond effectively to diving emergencies. The PADI Rescue Diver Course includes both theory and practical techniques, complemented by Emergency First Response (EFR) training based on international safety standards.

WITH THIS PLAN, YOU MUST STAY AT LEAST ONE NIGHT IN A HOTEL ON THE ISLANDS AND WAIT AT LEAST 18 HOURS BEFORE TAKING A FLIGHT.

WHAT TO EXPECT

PHASE ONE – THEORY 

  • Once your reservation is confirmed, you will be able to download your digital course.

  • Complete the theory component through PADI eLearning.

SECOND PHASE – PRACTICE 

FIRST DAY

  • Meet us at the pier (Muelle de la Bodeguita), just 5 minutes from Cartagena’s historic center, at 8:00 a.m.

  • One-hour speedboat transfer to the Rosario Islands.

  • Welcome at our dive base located in one of the top hotels on the islands.

  • Surface rescue and EFR practice drills.

  • Diving rescue techniques and scenario-based learning.

  • Lunch included.

  • On-site theory and hands-on training in CPR and emergency management.

  • Transfer to your hotel on the islands (hotel not included).

SECOND DAY

  • Continue rescue and EFR practice sessions in both surface and underwater conditions.

  • Lunch (not included in the plan).

  • Return to Cartagena around 3:00 p.m., with arrival at approximately 4:15 p.m.

  • Processing of your official PADI Rescue Diver certification.
